The open floor plan worked very well. Though we stayed in a more affordable room closer to the road, we still enjoyed the sound of the waves with our windows open. The property strikes the perfect balance between tranquility and relaxation. Being right on the beach, you're always greeted by the soothing sound of the waves. The newly renovated pool area was a great retreat after a day of beach hopping. The staff, especially Chawake & Lei at the front desk, were exceptional. They provided excellent restaurant recommendations and insider tips for the North Shore. Tyler, the shuttle driver, was also fantastic and shared local stories and suggestions during our rides. We are definitely returning to this little paradise!

The view from our room to the ocean was absolutely astonishing. We loved having beach access and being so close to the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room itself felt more like an apartment with all the necessary kitchen appliances and utensils to prep our own food. The pool house and other facilities were also a major bonus, and we appreciated having a laundry room on-site. we had a great experience as adults at Hanalei Colony Resort.
We felt very well looked after during our stay and have no complaints.

my recent stay in kauai surpassed all expectations. the hanalei colony resort was the perfect beachfront location, away from the crowds but still close to snorkeling spots. the suites were spacious, clean, and comfortable. the onsite coffee shop was a great convenience. highly recommended!
